Game Night Flyer at Saint Leo University
This flyer was created in Canva for game night event at Saint Leo University Wellness Center. The green and yellow colors are the Saint Leo's Campus Ministry and Saint Leo University colors.
I collaborated with Spencer Wallut on this design.

I created this promotional flyer in Canva to advertise my photography business, Behind The Photoshoot LLC. I used Canva's design tools to combine my logo, business colors, typography, and layout into a professional marketing piece. The flyer features my slogan, "Life Moves Fast! Capture the Moments," highlights my photography services, and includes my contact information, website, and a QR code so potential clients can easily connect with my business. This design was created to promote my brand on social media, in print, and at networking events while maintaining a consistent and professional visual identity.

Shakespeare Paper Design
The Shakespeare Papers Flyer was created in Adobe InDesign as a promotional piece for a subscription-based series of bi-monthly booklets about William Shakespeare's plays and sonnets. The flyer was designed to appeal to academics, including teachers and graduate students, by presenting the subscription in a visually engaging and persuasive way.
The design applies the principles of contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity to organize information, create visual hierarchy, and guide the viewer's attention. It also incorporates rhetorical appeals through ethos, using Shakespeare's image to establish credibility; pathos, through descriptive language that sparks curiosity; and logos, with a logical layout that clearly presents the publication's features, subscription information, and contact details. This project demonstrates my ability to combine effective visual communication with thoughtful design principles to create a cohesive marketing piece.

One Minute Too Long – Public Service Announcement (PSA)
One Minute Too Long is a public service announcement (PSA) created in Adobe InDesign to raise awareness about the deadly consequences of leaving a young child in a hot vehicle. Designed for parents and caregivers, the PSA combines factual information, emotional imagery, and a clear call to action to encourage readers to check the backseat every time they leave their vehicle. The design applies the principles of contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity while using ethos, pathos, and logos to create a clear, persuasive, and visually engaging public safety message.

Direct Mail Marketing Piece – Saint Leo Advantage Credit Card
For this class project, I designed a professional direct mail advertisement promoting the Saint Leo Advantage Credit Card offered through San Antonio Citizens Federal Credit Union. The goal was to create a personalized marketing piece that clearly communicated the benefits of the credit card while encouraging recipients to activate their pre-approved offer.
I focused on applying principles of visual communication by creating a balanced two-column layout, establishing a clear information hierarchy, and using proximity, alignment, contrast, and repetition to improve readability. The design combines persuasive copywriting, branding, imagery, and a QR code to provide recipients with an easy way to learn more and take action.
This project strengthened my skills in graphic design, document layout, audience-focused communication, and marketing design while demonstrating my ability to create professional print materials that effectively inform and persuade a target audience.
I collaborated with a team to design this personalized marketing piece for Senior Capstone CMS-498-CA01 at Saint Leo University.

For this podcast class project, I developed the branding and cover artwork for my podcast, Behind the PhotoShoot. The objective was to create a bold, visually engaging design that reflects the podcast's focus on photography, creativity, and digital media.
I used strong typography, contrast, and a minimalist camera aperture icon to establish a recognizable visual identity that would stand out on podcast streaming platforms. Throughout the project, I applied design principles such as visual hierarchy, alignment, balance, and simplicity to create artwork that effectively communicates the podcast's theme while maintaining a professional appearance.
This project enhanced my skills in podcast branding, graphic design, visual communication, and creating digital media assets for online platforms.
How to Change the Background Color of a Document Using Adobe InDesign

Designed a step-by-step instructional guide in Adobe InDesign that teaches users how to change the background color of a document. The project combines technical writing with visual communication by using annotated screenshots, consistent typography, and a structured two-column layout to create a clear, user-friendly learning experience. Applying the principles of proximity, alignment, contrast, and repetition, the guide improves readability, reduces cognitive load, and helps users follow each step with confidence. This project demonstrates my skills in Adobe InDesign, instructional design, document layout, technical communication, and user-centered design.
Tri-fold Brochure
This past summer, I completed an internship at Tampa Day School (TDS), a private, specialized school in Tampa, FL that serves students in grades 3–8 with mild learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, and anxiety. During my internship, I supported the school’s marketing, communications, and administrative efforts by creating promotional materials, and assisting with facility organization. I designed a tri-fold brochure for sports and clubs, and created alumni content for TDS website. Along the way, I strengthened my skills in marketing design, professional communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving.
Here’s a breakdown of what I did for the tri-fold brochure, alumni content for TDS website, and Facebook post for summer tutoring programs (Learning Solutions):
Designed a tri-fold brochure for sports and clubs.
-Worked with the Athletic Director to gather information about teams
-Organized content into a clear seasonal layout (fall, winter, spring).
-Took and selected photos (including trophies and student activities) to showcase school pride.
-Suggested and prepared a QR code to link to online forms.
-Designed the brochure in Canva, using school branding, colors, and logo.
Created alumni content for the school’s website.
-Gathered information about the alumni (high school and college choices).
-Designed a carousel post in Canva to be shared on TDS’s website and social media platforms.
-Applied consistent color schemes, branding, and logo placement to strengthen recognition.

Pinellas County Tri-Fold Brochure
Public Relations (CMS-324-CA01) | Spring 2025 | Saint Leo University
This tri-fold brochure was created as part of my Final Written Project for Public Relations (CMS-324-CA01) at Saint Leo University. The assignment challenged students to develop professional public relations materials that effectively communicate with a target audience.
For this portion of the project, I designed a tourism brochure promoting Pinellas County. I researched local attractions, wrote the brochure copy, organized the content, and designed a visually engaging layout using Canva. The brochure highlights Pinellas County's beaches, history, culture, and attractions while maintaining a clear and professional design.
This project strengthened my skills in publication design, public relations writing, visual communication, typography, and layout design, demonstrating my ability to create polished marketing materials for real-world audiences.
